The Egyptian civilization

Egypt is famous worldwide for its golden period in history, which is popularly known as the Egyptian civilization. The glorious ancient history of Egypt was mainly due to the Nile river. The Nile river’s fertile land and the river water helped the Egyptians grow settlements and live a happy life. 

The Ancient history of Egypt is fascinating as it consists of numerous other fascinating things, one of them being the Pyramids. With the discovery of the Rosetta stone, they deciphered the closed pages of Egyptian civilization. The Great Pyramid of Giza is one of the world’s seven wonders, which is situated in Egypt. 

The History of Egypt

The civilization took place around 3150 BCE. They divided Egypt into two sections during that time, Upper and Lower Egypt. 

Narmer was the first ruler of the First Dynasty kings of Egypt. Egypt was then under the rule of the Achaemenid Empire from the sixth century BC. 

They believed Egypt to be a green land before. The Sahara desert is believed to have formed due to overgrazing by the cattle and overutilization of the land by cultivation. These caused soil erosion and made it like the desert. 

Earlier, the tribes and other associates migrated to the Nile river to form civilized settlements and to live as an integrated society. A unified kingdom in Egypt was formed in 3150 BCE by king Menes. 

There were four dynasties of Rulers that reigned over Egypt for almost three millennials. A lot of regional cultural developments took place during their rules, and they also built many pyramids. The purpose of these pyramids was to cremate the civilians and mainly the pharaohs. 

The Dynasty rulers

In the ancient civilization of Egypt, the kingdom witnessed a huge flourish during the reign of Pharaoh Amenemhat II. Avaris was the new capital for Hyksos migrants around 1650 BC. One of the most famous and mysterious rulers of the world, who was known as Tutankhamun, was a pharaoh of Egypt. 

The third and fourth dynasties marked the international recognition of Egypt back in those days. It emerged as a new trading point and political power.
