As one of the great emperors during the Greek era, Alexander the Great accomplished so many things, so what was his history and what did alexander the great accomplish during his battles? and what did he do in Greek Thebes? On other hand, was the city of Alexandria one of his main accomplishments?

North of Greece in 356 BC the baby Alexander was born in a small town Bella the capital of Marconi. He was the son of King Philip II the King of Macedonia. After years, Alexander grow up in the royal court as one of the smartest kids among the Nobels kids. The story said that one day a horse trader brought a black horse to King Philip. The horse was very rebellious and can not be tamed. However, the ten years prince Alexander had been able to calm it down after he realized that the horse is afraid of its shadow! From that time this horse became Alexander’s horse all time and he was riding it in all his military campaigns later.

The horse story tells us how Alexander the Great was so smart during his childhood. Similarly, when his father wanted to bring him a teacher, he asked Alexander which teacher he prefers. In fact, the child was so inelegant and he selected Aristotle to be his teacher and philosopher. Later, Alexander the Great made Aristotle a temple to teach kids and educate them.

Alexander studied many types of science like medicine, philosophy and relgiouse and logic. Also, he learned from Aristotle the wisdom with helped him later. At this time the World only knew the Persian Empire which scattered from India to Anatolia for 5000 Square KM. the Persians tried many times to invade Greece and so many battles toke place between the two great empires. All battles ended by defeating the Persians by the Greeks. So the Persians gave up and never thought again to invade such strong empire.

The Greek empire was build on states government, each state has its own army and government. this made a big conflict between these states. In fact, it was very important for the Greek states to be unified under one leader. So, the father of Alexander the Great managed to do it, however, he was killed. Alexander was able to get rid of his competitors on the throne and he toke over after his father.

Undoubtedly, the first job the Alexander the Great was trying to accomplish was keep Greek unified. However, other states in Greek used the situation after they saw a young man taking over. So, they tried to rebel against the Macedonian government. The first city to rebel was the Greek Thebes, so Alexander the Great led a big military campaign against Greek Thebes. In addition, he destroyed the whole city and made it an example for any other city thinking to rebel against him.

The most important Battles for Alexander the Great were the first two battles. In fact, these two battles proved to the entire World that Alexander the Great was capable to be the King of Earth. So, What did alexander the great accomplish in these battles.

1- The Greek Thebes Battle 335 BC

Alexander the Great Dream was to control the entire World. So, after giving a hard lesson to the Greek Thebes, Alexander controlled all of the Greek Empire. In fact, all other cities and states were afraid to meet the same destiny of Greek Thebes city. So, all states rulers submitted to the new round emperor Alexander the Great. This was a good opportunity for Alexander to start a huge military campaign against the Persians.

2- The Battle of Grancius River In Anatolia

This battle was so important for Alexander as its the first real facing between both the Macedonian and Persian armies. So, the two armies started the battle while each army was on a side of the river. With almost 37,000 solders, the Macedonian Army was almost half size of the Persian army. However, Alexander the Great was so smart to win this battle.

Construction Accomplishments

His major achievements was building a city on the North Cost of Egypt on the Mediterranean. He named the city Alexandria, which is one of the most beautiful cities of Egypt till now.
