Was Amun-Ra evil? When it comes to myths and legends, the most common concern in creation across ancient cultures is the will of a creator god who isolate the earth from the horizon, form the landscape, and creates humans from mud, scion, hidrosis, or even from his own midge. In the ancient Egyptian mythology, this god was Ammon, the godhead who brought himself into existence, then followed the creation of every thing in the whole world. As we don’t have much reference about this entity, we should explain more about who this god was before he started to be referred to as Amun-Re, the Egyptian god creator without restriction. In accordance with the ancient Egyptian myth, Amon was the almighty god since the beginning of the Egyptian history till the end, the king of the heaven, and the great lord of the Egyptian world.

He is recognized as the deity attend in chaos at the creation of the universe, the bizarre creator god whose name means the hidden one. Although Amun’s real shape was always unknown, but he was usually depicted as a bearded human, a king in the prime of life wearing a tricorn with two long feathers emphasizing the dominance over both upper and lower Egypt. Amun and his female pair were part of the community of the eight primeval gods who were well known as the Hermopolis Ogdoad, as both deities were listed among the divine defenders of the kings engraved in the Pyramid texts showing the faint power.

Even though he had enemies, Amun-Ra had a personality with God’s features. He took over humans and was worshiped by his people; from time to time he spoke to his followers about the rules and punishments. Also, he was well-known for fairness and forgiveness by his people and was often pursued for defending the evil. After his worshippers death, he accompanied them on their journey to the afterlife by the sun boat, which was considered a huge honor. Therefore, Amun-Re is a good god and far from being evil.
