We booked a day tour to The Pyramids with Egypt United tours as we were in Cairo for a business trip. It was an incredible day tour!! We started our morning at one of the great wonders of the world: The Great Pyramids of Giza. It’s hard to capture the scale of the pyramids in photos, but it’s true, they are very impressive. We also crawled down into the burial chamber of one of the Queen’s small Pyramids. We then moseyed on over to something called ‘The Sphinx’. There, we learned the secret history of the Great Sphinx, but we swore we wouldn’t tell anybody J. The Sphinx allowed for some more photos and fun before we set off to visit a ‘Papyrus Museum’ and a very interesting demonstration about how papyrus has been made for the last 5000 years. For lunch, we enjoyed a nice meal overlooking the pyramids and then set off to the Egyptian Museum. Our Egyptologist, Ahmed, guided us through the museum. It was truly fascinating to learn about the mythology of the ancient Egyptians. Even more impressive was the detail and skill of the craftsmen thousands of years ago. The Tutankhamen exhibition was stunning. Some of the highlights were his ornately decorated, solid gold coffin and death mask. The jewelry was exquisite too. By the end of the museum we were all quite tired, so we headed back to the hotel for a swim and a lovely buffet dinner. Some lifetime memories were made that day. I had a best historian, Ahmed, who became a good friend being able to learn and discuss the human history in depth for 12days of visiting great historical sites out of 15 day private tour. He was very professional with his education and guiding, yet very personable character. He climbed Mt.Sinai for his 2nd time ever for sunrise with me too. Scuba diving in Red Sea was exciting at Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh. Mr.Tamir took care of all my airport matters very swiftly and professionally to cut through much long lines, not cutting lines but knowing the way through at the airport missed all the unnecessary delays.. I definitely gave a good tip for making the transition smooth for my jumps along with Ahmed, my guide. And, I thank mostly with initial communicater, Ms.Mohga at office, and smooth drivers along the way. Definitely , I had more than a vacation on the way back, my friend Ahmed.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in Egypt and truly had a marvelous time with Egypt United Tours agency. It was very enjoyable to be on vacation and to be constantly surprised at how nice everything turned out to be, including the beautiful hotel in Cairo with a view of the pyramids, to the beautiful rooms on our Nile Cruise that overlooked the water. We were very impressed with how well we were taken care of and the guide was all top-notch and very well informed. It can be difficult traveling with 3 small children as we did, but this tour agent’s attention to details and flexibility in catering to their needs really made it special for them as well. We had a magical time and feel that we really got to experience Egypt as it is meant to be experienced.

We took a private 8-day trip, including a Nile Cruise, with UTS, and it was wonderful. Right from planning to execution, everything was handled very efficiently. We did go back and forth multiple times and asked numerous questions that were promptly handled by Abdelrahman and Hamad. Once in Egypt, we were taken care of from the minute we landed to the minute we left and did not have to figure anything out for ourselves. Everything was taken care of for us by the team at UTS. Special shoutout to Hamad for arranging a complimentary dinner at a rooftop overlooking the pyramids for my parents' anniversary and for wonderful parting gifts. On our return from Luxor to Cairo, our flight got considerably delayed, and they provided us with complimentary use of the hotel for a few hours, which was much appreciated. They were also flexible to add/delete places from our itinerary as needed. Also, a huge shoutout to our egyptologist Ahmed Nashaat for not only teaching us so much about Egyptian history and culture but also taking care of us throughout the trip. If anyone is planning a trip to Egypt, go with Egypt United Tours, and you won't regret it. (Note for planning: if booking a cruise, ship timings are subject to change last minute & UTS has no control over this... be prepared for 4:45/5:00 am sightseeings. An extra night in Luxor after the cruise would have been great. Also, please be aware that many places in Egypt are not senior friendly, and there are lots of stairs involved. Getting onto a boat en route to the Nubian village was one such adventure invloving a very narrow path and unsteady wooden planks. Again, it's not the fault of the tour company. Just let them know ahead of time if you need special accommodations) Kudos to Ahmed Nashaat for helping keep my parents safe at each such juncture. Nashaat also helped get personalized cartouches made for us, which we absolutely loved!! Thanks to Abdelrahman for a quick city tour around Tahrir Square the day we left Cairo. We were able to see modern Cairo and appreciate how locals live today. Again, the team at Egypt United Tours went above and beyond to take care of us as family, and we would absolutely recommend them to all our friends.
