A brilliant holiday to Egypt

I had a best historian, Ahmed, who became a good friend being able to learn and discuss the human history in depth for 12days of visiting great historical sites out of 15 day private tour. He was very professional with his education and guiding, yet very personable character. He climbed Mt.Sinai for his 2nd time ever for sunrise with me too. Scuba diving in Red Sea was exciting at Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh. Mr.Tamir took care of all my airport matters very swiftly and professionally to cut through much long lines, not cutting lines but knowing the way through at the airport missed all the unnecessary delays.. I definitely gave a good tip for making the transition smooth for my jumps along with Ahmed, my guide. And, I thank mostly with initial communicater, Ms.Mohga at office, and smooth drivers along the way. Definitely , I had more than a vacation on the way back, my friend Ahmed.

We booked a day tour to The Pyramids with Egypt United tours as we were in Cairo for a business trip. It was an incredible day tour!! We started our morning at one of the great wonders of the world: The Great Pyramids of Giza. It’s hard to capture the scale of the pyramids in photos, but it’s true, they are very impressive. We also crawled down into the burial chamber of one of the Queen’s small Pyramids. We then moseyed on over to something called ‘The Sphinx’. There, we learned the secret history of the Great Sphinx, but we swore we wouldn’t tell anybody J. The Sphinx allowed for some more photos and fun before we set off to visit a ‘Papyrus Museum’ and a very interesting demonstration about how papyrus has been made for the last 5000 years. For lunch, we enjoyed a nice meal overlooking the pyramids and then set off to the Egyptian Museum. Our Egyptologist, Ahmed, guided us through the museum. It was truly fascinating to learn about the mythology of the ancient Egyptians. Even more impressive was the detail and skill of the craftsmen thousands of years ago. The Tutankhamen exhibition was stunning. Some of the highlights were his ornately decorated, solid gold coffin and death mask. The jewelry was exquisite too. By the end of the museum we were all quite tired, so we headed back to the hotel for a swim and a lovely buffet dinner. Some lifetime memories were made that day. My son & I had a vacation tour of Egypt during the period May 1-10, 2021. Our tour operator was Egypt United Tours. Their offer was comprehensive & complete including transport, accommodation, sight seeing, river cruise etc. We were received & seen off at the Airport by their representative and accompanied by an exclusive tour guide for two of us all the time including the river cruise. So, though we do not know Arabic, we did not face any problem to communicate with local people whenever needed. The transport supplied were relatively new & comfortable and often too big for two of us. We requested an offer from them for 10 day tour of Egypt. After receipt of the offer, we requested some additional services & our tour program was tailored to meet our requirements which included Balloon ride, visit of Abu Simbel temple etc. By the way we collected a few quotes from other operators also which were more economical. But considering all pros & cons we decided for Egypt United Tours. Now after the completion of the tour I have no hesitation to admit that we took the right decision & got full value of our money.
