We just finished a 14 day Nile River cruise booked with Egypt United and they did a great job. They are full-service…with transfers/visa assistance upon arrival and airport escorts (which is very helpful in Egypt). They set up an Egyptologist guide for our trip, Ahmed Nashaat, and he was fantastic. Ahmed gave us great tours of each archaeological site, answered all our questions about ancient and current Egypt, and helped us with all our needs…getting stamps, finding an ATM, advice for tipping, obtaining medicine, and anything else we could need. It was the trip of a lifetime and it was fantastic.

Organization of the trip from the start was fantastic with Hamad, he made the reassurances of what our schedule would look like and was very accessible throughout the entire trip! Our tour leader, Amr Mansy was with our family in Cairo, Aswan and Luxor and he was very friendly and easy to be around. We did travel during Ramadan, so some of the sites in Cairo were closed earlier, so planning to see all the sites on a particular day may look different than when travelling not during Ramadan. Egypt is beautiful, and I would highly recommend Egypt United Tours for families that want an easy, well-planned trip to this amazing country.

We booked a day tour to The Pyramids with Egypt United tours as we were in Cairo for a business trip. It was an incredible day tour!! We started our morning at one of the great wonders of the world: The Great Pyramids of Giza. It’s hard to capture the scale of the pyramids in photos, but it’s true, they are very impressive. We also crawled down into the burial chamber of one of the Queen’s small Pyramids. We then moseyed on over to something called ‘The Sphinx’. There, we learned the secret history of the Great Sphinx, but we swore we wouldn’t tell anybody J. The Sphinx allowed for some more photos and fun before we set off to visit a ‘Papyrus Museum’ and a very interesting demonstration about how papyrus has been made for the last 5000 years. For lunch, we enjoyed a nice meal overlooking the pyramids and then set off to the Egyptian Museum. Our Egyptologist, Ahmed, guided us through the museum. It was truly fascinating to learn about the mythology of the ancient Egyptians. Even more impressive was the detail and skill of the craftsmen thousands of years ago. The Tutankhamen exhibition was stunning. Some of the highlights were his ornately decorated, solid gold coffin and death mask. The jewelry was exquisite too. By the end of the museum we were all quite tired, so we headed back to the hotel for a swim and a lovely buffet dinner. Some lifetime memories were made that day. I am so thankful for Egypt United tours
