Day 1
Arrival Day
Check-In
In fact, we will take you up from any Luxor location and drive you 60 kilometers south to Esna, where our Nile Dahabiya Houseboat is located. Then, we will board our Dahabiya for the 5-day journey between Esna and Aswan along the Nile.
After a welcome beverage, we go on a voyage to El Kab, the ancient Nekheb settlement, where we will investigate the temple ruins and some of the tombs etched into the cliffs. On the other hand, we will have a personal, knowledgeable Egyptologist tour guide with us the entire time. More sailing time is needed to reach the small island where the yacht will spend the night.
Dinner will be served either on the Dahabiya or on the peaceful Nile bank the first night on board.

Day 2
Edfu Temple
Edfu City
The temple of Horus, which is regarded to be the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples, lies in Edfu, so after breakfast, set sail for there. After returning for lunch on your houseboat, keep cruising in the direction of a tiny island where you will moor the boat for the night. You'll arrive at later stops to find little communities and the desert.
Finally, dinner will be served either on the Dahabiya or on the peaceful Nile bank on the second night on board.

Day 3
Voyage to Kom Ombo
Kom Ombo Temple
Have breakfast first. Next, as you cruise near Gabal el Silsila, see the ancient sandstone quarries and rock-cut chapels of Horemheb, Seti I, Ramesses II, and Merenptah. The journey up the Nile carries on in the direction of Kom Ombo's twin temples of Haroeris and Sobek.
The ship departs after lunch in direction of the island of Maniha, where it will anchor that evening. Dinner will be served either on the Dahabiya or on the peaceful Nile bank on the third night aboard.

Day 4
Sailing Dahabiya Nile Cruise
Visit Nubian Village
Breakfast, sail to the largest camel market in the world. Then, stop in Daraw village for a walking tour and a visit to the markets, return to the houseboat for lunch, continue sailing to the Nubian village of El Koubania, close to Aswan, farewell barbecue & grilled dinner in the island, party hosted by locals from our Dahabiya team, fourth and final night on board.

Aswan Departure
To honour the conclusion of the Dahabiya journey, we shall proceed to any site in Aswan after breakfast on board.
