Travel to Dandara and Abydos

Starting point: Any location in Luxor.

07:00 AM Firstly, meet our Egyptologist tour guide and our pleasant driver to start your Dandara and Abydos tour from Luxor. After having your breakfast, start your day trip to Abydos. Enjoy an amazing ride for 3 hours, and witness the real Egyptian countryside during your journey.

Abydos Temple

Arrive at Abydos village in Sohag, then follow your Egyptologist tour guide to the House of God Osiris.

After that, visit the Osiron God House at Abydos Temple, and the Seven Holy Shrines of Egypt's Ancient Gods.

In Abydos, your tour guide will show you the bright colors still left from the days of the Pharaohs on the walls of the temple. Learn about the List of Kings and the annual celebration when Osiris leaves his shrine to visit his wife Isis in Philae Temple.

After that, your tour guide gives you free time to enjoy Abysos Temple on your own, peacefully stroll around and explore the beauty of ancient Egyptian art.

Dandara Temple

Start your trip to The Cow Goddess Hathor Temple at Dandara. Which is located near Luxor city. enjoy seeing the Hathoric Columns, the Ancient Egyptian Calendar, and the Sky Goddess Nut can all be seen here.

Get an amazing opportunity to ascend the steps of the temple to the top roof. Watch the amazing curving over the walls of Dandara and get to know more about the Goddess's secrets and myths.

Enjoy a free walking tour around the temple to take more photos before your journey back to Luxor starts.

04:00 PM, transfer back to Luxor and drop off at your location in Luxor (Hotel or Nile Cruise).

It was very enjoyable vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in Egypt and truly had a marvelous time with Egypt United Tours agency. It was very enjoyable to be on vacation and to be constantly surprised at how nice everything turned out to be, including the beautiful hotel in Cairo with a view of the pyramids, to the beautiful rooms on our Nile Cruise that overlooked the water. We were very impressed with how well we were taken care of and the guide was all top-notch and very well informed. It can be difficult traveling with 3 small children as we did, but this tour agent’s attention to details and flexibility in catering to their needs really made it special for them as well. We had a magical time and feel that we really got to experience Egypt as it is meant to be experienced.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Cairo and Luxor with Egypt united tours.Our tour guide was outstanding and ran our tour like clockwork. The driver was very professional and careful person.Tiba Hotel was very good and clean but the staff were little slow, we asked for an extra bed for our son and it toke them 2 hours to bring it to our room. Absolutely recommend Egypt United for anyone

This trip was such an unforgettable experience

This trip was such an unforgettable experience! It could not have been possible without my amazing tour guide- Sherif, driver- Muhammad, and representative- Tamir. I cannot stop talking about my trip and everything I have learned due to Sherifs extensive knowledge about the history (and there’s a lot). Not only is he the smartest, he is also the kindest person and will make sure to put you and your group first. He single handily made this experience something I will keep with me forever and will be forever grateful. Muhammad was also such a sweetie. despite the language barrier, he always had a smile to share and some candy to share! Our representative Tamir also handled everything beautifully and had me and my mother worry about nothing from the second we got off the plane! All these people truly made us feel like family. If you ever get the chance to go to Egypt I truly recommend booking with them, we felt safe the entire time and I can’t wait to go back!
