Entering the Blue Shadow Nile Cruise, there comes the warmest welcome presented with refined interiors and river views that stretch far beyond the eye’s scope. The Nile Cruise has spacious cabins, a sundeck with a swimming pool, fine dining, and immaculate service, everything bringing joy in full to the onboard moments, while drawing each excursion with much attention.

Discover the Wonders of Luxor through our Blue Shadow Nile Cruise 4 Nights from Luxor Package

Commencing one’s Blue Shadow Nile Cruise 4 Nights from Luxor journey exploring the astonishing ancient sites of Luxor, one visits Karnak Temple Complex on the east riverbank, a vast network of mighty temples, pylons, and colossal columns erected over several centuries by the powerful pharaohs. One finds it a delight to walk amid the high stone pillars surrounding the famous Hypostyle Hall, feeling indeed very much intimidated.

Besides, you will explore the amazingly preserved Luxor Temple, majestically located along the edge of the Nile. The history of divinities, kings, and ancient rituals are painted with vivid colors as it is narrated by your Egyptologist expert.

Crossing over to the West Bank, the adventures didn’t cease, and the tour embarks into the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs would be laid to rest in lavishly adorned tombs hewn far into the heart of the mountain in the desert. The most luminous examples of wall paintings and hieroglyphics give in to; explaining beliefs of the past age about an afterlife. Close by, there rests one more highlight, the magnificent Temple of Hatshepsut, architectural marvel and homage to the mighty female crowns of Egypt.

Sailing the Timeless Nile through out Blue Shadow Nile Cruise 4 Nights from Luxor

After your visit to Luxor is concluded, as you wend your way south in your felucca boat, it is so fascinating to watch the landscape change while you sail along the Nile-the palm groves, traditional villages, and golden dunes create a landscape right out of a painting against which you can lose yourself on the sun deck.

The Blue Shadow Nile Cruise can afford customers an angelic escape of the pool, a sumptuous feast of culinary delights, with relaxation to the melody and harmony of the tranquil river. Up above, entertainment, music, and cultural performances bring enchantment and animation to nights on board.

By visiting the well-preserved Edfu Temple, your eyes land on the Horus-headed god; the magnificent structure is, to this day, considered one of the best and most accurately preserved of all temples in the land of the Pharaohs-providing a rare glimpse of ancient architecture in almost unchanged form over thousands of years.

Taking a step into the Nile, as the setting of one of a kind architectural complexity, Kom Ombo Temple stirs attention by the river. In a most unconventional way for a sacred building, one peculiar anomaly is that it is dedicated to two gods – Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder – and extends this dual dedication through the meditation of a double design.

Arrival in Aswan through our Blue Shadow Nile Cruise 4 Nights from Luxor – Beauty and Tranquility

Aswan, a spectacular Nile view or slow pace, is the place where your journey comes to an end. Then and there, you will take a visit to the remarkable Philae Temple-an enthralling temple complex raised in honor of the goddess Isis and later moved to Agilkia Island as a matter of saving it from waters reaching them higher. Yet another landmark looms ahead-as the modern wonder of construction assumingly beyond all limits, the High Dam of Aswan wrought otherwise to modernize the economy of Egypt.

Luxor West Bank Tour and Cruise to Esna

Firstly, Luxor offers a relaxing breakfast by the lake. You're taking your small team to the Luxor West Bank this morning. Begin your tour of three more heritage sites with your guide in Valley of The Kings.

after That, Valley of the Kings is a royal necropolis where pharaohs and prominent nobles of The New Kingdom were buried in rock-cut tombs. Depending on the type, they can range from modest burial chambers to intricate mazes of rooms and passageways. Almost all tombs, including the pyramids, were raided and looted in antiquity. Tutankhamen's tomb is one of the few that is still closed and has practically everything inside, including his mummy, intact.

Then, similarly, proceed to Queen Hatshepsut's old rock-cut tomb. The same painters who constructed and adorned the tombs in the Valley of Kings were responsible for this. You'll pass the colossal Colossi of Memnon on your way back to your cruise ship.

Meanwhile, while you sail to Esna, you have the rest of the day to do whatever you like. There will be no additional tours or excursions today. As usual, afternoon tea is offered. In a similar vein, a Captain's Welcome cocktail reception will be held shortly before dinner today.

Finally, at night, the ship's disco will be open again. Today, spend the evening of your Nile cruise on the water in Esna.

  • Day 3

Monday - Edfu Temple and Kom Ombo Temple Excursions

    Nile Crusie Sailing

Firstly, Breakfast is served on board the ship as it travels to Edfu. Your guide will take you and your group to Egypt's finest ancient temple, the Temple of Horus in Edfu, shortly after your arrival. For decades, this 2,000-year-old temple has been buried in the desert sand.

Then, Enjoy a sumptuous lunch on the ship as you travel to Kom Ombo. Following that, you'll visit Kom Ombo Temple, which is dedicated to two separate gods, Sobek and Haeroris. After that, return to your lodging.

Finally, Enjoy another delicious meal aboard the cruise in the evening. Tonight's Galabya Party is a lot of fun instead of an onboard disco. Spend the night at Kom Ombo on the water.

  • Day 4

We found EGYPT UNITED TOURS on the internet. I am glad we did. From our first e-mail of inquiry to them, to our return home from Cairo on May 28th, everything went well. I have been in business myself, 29 years. Successful businesses and relationships are all about execution, service, honesty, service and integrity. EGYPT UNITED TOURS seems to possess all of these. Considering the fact we were able to stay at some of the best hotels in Egypt: the Marriott Mena House(Cairo), Isis Island hotel(Aswan), Movenpick Hotel(Sharm El Sheikh), Blue Shadow(Nile cruise) and Catherine Plaza Hotel(Mount Sinai) told me how hard these folks worked for us. The owners, the greeters, our guides and our drivers treated us with respect, kindness and created the absolute time of our lives. We can't wait to go back and experience Egypt again. I recommend them to anyone and everyone. They went that extra step to give us the most unbelievable experience we could dream about. They were not the cheapest quote we received, but they were worth every penny to enable us to touch, feel and experience the wonders of this great land called Egypt.

1) As a solo female traveler traveling to Egypt 2) during a time when there’s war in the region and 3) hearing from others about aggressive sales tactics and harassments at touristy areas, I wanted to make sure I pick a good tour agency to travel with. I reached out to numerous agencies and decided to go with Egypt United Tours (EUT) because of their quick response, patiently working with me to customize my itinerary, and the professionalism from the team, specifically from Athar and Hamad, the CEO. When I called EUT I made sure to let them know that I enjoy learning and I want a knowledgeable guide. Sherif, who was my tour guide for the 10 days, is an Egyptologist and is very well-versed in Ancient Egypt. It’s no wonder because he’s been a tour guide for 16 years! I typically join group tours to cut cost and to meet new people, so this trip was my first private tour experience as a solo traveler. Some benefits are that you get to customize your itinerary - for example, I asked if I could check out Valley of the Queens and Sherif was able to check with the company very quickly and arrange to take me (I just had to cover the additional cost). If I’m too tired I can take things out of the itinerary and just take it easy or switch to a less strenuous activity, which Sherif would be happy to suggest alternatives. The itinerary works well for solo travelers - I enjoyed sitting on the sun deck for hours reading my book with beautiful views along the Nile River. Ancient Egypt is fascinating and there’s so much to see and so much to do. Sherif will also check in on me and make himself available in case any issues arise, and he is keen to show Egyptian hospitality and will invite you to sit at local cafes trying local tea, mango juice and shisha. I appreciate nice videos and photos for my Instagram account and Sherif has a good eye to point out good photo spots and helped me take nice photos and videos too! I also appreciated how Sherif would help manage the sales people so I didn’t have to experience a lot of the aggressive selling. Having a local guide definitely helps with this! Lastly, there’s no standard itinerary that they try to push to you for commission or anything like that. If there was something I was less interested in, Sherif tried to understand my preferences and made recommendations based on it and it was up to me to decide what works best. I went on a 10 day trip with EUT (including a 5D4N Nile Cruise) and at an initial glance, the quote was much higher than what another agency provided. Sherif took time to go through the 2 itineraries with me to understand the differences and I saw how EUT’s itinerary covered more sites and had better quality hotels and cruise. It’s good to raise this with the agency before you decide on which one to use if you’re receiving multiple quotes - they can help point out the differences or make it more competitive. Despite that, because it was something I had raised, Hamad went out of his way to offer to cover the entrance fees and additional activities to make his quote extremely competitive. All the tour guides and guests has access to Hamad the CEO, so if I had any concerns it would be addressed quickly. I also decided to add a trip to Abu Simbel on Feb 22nd for the Sun Festival. Athar and Hamad were very thoughtful to help adding a complimentary day use at the hotel in Aswan so that I can rest coming back from an 8 hour round trip ride in the wee hours of the morning. Attending the Sun Festival is not for the faint hearted and it takes good preparation from the agency to succeed in getting into the temple while the sun is still on the face of the statues inside the temple. Thanks to the small details - finding a good driver (thank you Hossam!) who’s able to drive safely but will hustle to get ahead of other cars/buses, purchasing the ticket online ahead of time so we don’t have to wait in line, and help with navigating through the massive crowds and being firm on others trying to cut in front of me - all of this contributed to me having the chance to get into the temple just in time! The airport assist at immigration and pick ups (thank you Tamer for your hospitality and kindness) and transition between cruise to hotel and from site to site were seamless because they have local teams and contacts at each city which are arranged ahead of time to ensure that their guests don’t experience the hiccups and long wait. All in all it’s been an amazing experience with EUT. I didn’t feel unsafe in Egypt and unfortunately because of the war, many tourists have canceled their trips, but it also means less crowd for me at the monuments during my time here and it was great! Some tips: I would recommend discussing with EUT on including entrance fees in the initial quote so it’s one less thing you have to worry about during your vacation and they can also purchase tickets online for you.
